Mihajlov Delcho

Hi is a caricutarist, film director, screenwriter and art director, ilustrator and designer.
In 1974 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje.
His first caricature was published in 1961 and from then until 1973 he intensively published caricatures in the country and abroad and participated in many open competitions, exhibitions and festivals.
From 1975 to 1984 he worked in the "Vardar Film" Production Company in its studio for animated film. From 1985 he began to work on graphic design.
He published two books of caricatures: "Why not?" and the monograph "Delcho Mihajlov".
He was a member of DFRM and in the period from 1994 to 1996 and he was its President.From 1995 he was a director of the Internationl film Camera Festival in Bitola. He was the initiator and organizer of the First Independent Retrospective of Animated Films in Zagreb in 1995.
He was one of the initiators and founders for the acceptance of the Macedonian animators association ASIFA.
He participated in many exhibitions of caricatuures and as short feature film festuvals. He was a winner of numerous awards and much recognition in the field of caricature. In t1991 he won the "11th October" prize on the occasion of 30 years creative activities in the field of caricature.
He lives and works as an independent artist in Skopje.
