Samoilovski Misho

Biography

(Skopje, 30.9.1931)
He is a film worker - one of the doyen film-makers in Macedonia.
Upon the completion of high school in 1948 he was employed in the “Vardar Film” Production Company where he stayed until his retirement in 1992.
For his film-making activities he received many awards and much recognition: two golden arenas for the best camera at the Film Festival of Yugoslav film in Pula in 1972 and 1981, for the films "A Shoot" and "The Lead Brigade"; five Gold Medals at the March Documentary and Short Film Festival in Belgrade; a prize for the best camera at the "Manaki Brothers" Film Festival; the "13th of November" award of the city of Skopje, the "11th of October" Republic award and many others.
