From the history of the Macedonian cinematography

The film and the film image, although it appears at the end of 19th century, actually marks the 20th century as a film century, century of visualization, and continues with great intensity in the dawn of the 21st century and the new millennium. In the frames of this "global" notes fits the Macedonian cinematography. As a sensation at the start, the traveling cinemas by the unknown Italian (and others) film & cinema adventurers through the Balkans, this phenomenon soon became the usual novelty that brought the world closer to our grandfathers and vice versa, it attracted the attention of the world toward Macedonia. What was amateur and adventure at the time, soon became both routine and art. Passing time remained noted by the film chronicles and artistic visions, remaining as a record of our existence: past, future and present. The significance of the Macedonian film authors - the enduring enthusiasts and film lovers - is implemented into this chronology of the film events at this region.
