The Commitee for cinematography in the Goverment of Federal People Republic of Yugoslavia founded the central film company for production of newsreels "Zvezda Film" in Belgrade. At first Blagoja Drnkov, and later on, Trajche Popov were engaged as the first reporters and cinematographers. They produced 19 diferent parts for newsreels of "Zvezda Film" concering Macedonia. 1946, a complete reorganisation happened in the field of cinematography. In June, FIDIMA, Film Head Office of Macedonia was replaced by the Company for distribution, review and inspection of films, called RASFILM, founded on August 9, 1946, and appointed by the Ministry of Education. In Macedonia, 17 cinema theatres already existed and in 1946, these were tranformed into state ownership. In April, 1946, the first film with Macedonian subtitles was shown in the cinema "Kultura", in Skopje ("Circus", directed by Aleksandrov).
