"Vardar Film" produced the feature film "The Mountain of Wrath", directed by Ljubisha Georgievski. The actors Risto Shishkov, Darko Damevski and Mara Isaja, were awarded with special diplomas at Festival of Actors' Acomplishments, which took place in Nish, 1968. Also, the following documentary films were produced: "Tikvesh - Hydroelecric Power Station", by Branko Mihajlovski, "Going On the Way, Asking For the Way", by Branko Gapo, as well as "Debar 1967", "A Letter From Skopje" and "Hailing of the Spring",directed by Trajche Popov (the film "Hailing of the Spring" was awarded with a special diploma at the Festival of Yugoslav Short and Documentary Films in Belgrade, 1969). The short fiction film, "A Monument", directed by Veljo Lichenoski was also shot. At the Yugoslav Festival of Documentary and Short films, the producer "Vardar Film" was awarded with a special prize, given by the jury in Belgrade, 1969, for the documentary films "Going on the Way, Asking For the Way" and "Hailing of the Spring". Through the initiative of a few film makers from Macedonia, a Community of Film Workers (FRZ) for film making was founded, which produced documentary film "Virovo", directed by Meto Petrovski (selectivly represented at the Festivals in Karlowy Wary and Cannes, 1969). On July 22-24, in Skopje, during the manifestation "Meetings of Solidarity", the First International Amateur Film Festival took place. 30 amateur films from England, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Romania, USSR, Czhechoslovakia, Hungary, Holland and Yugoslavia were shown. The first edition of the illustrated review "Zurnal" ("Journal") was issued by NIP "Nova Makedonija", which was regularly published articles on the world and domestic film.
